Peggy Nash

Peggy Ann Nash peacefully passed away at her home in Bryant, Alabama, on September 14, 2024, at the age of 77. 

Peggy dedicated herself to her family, treasuring the moments spent with her children and grandchildren. Her love and devotion were evident in every interaction, creating a legacy of warmth and kindness that will forever be cherished by her loved ones. With a servant's heart, she always prioritized the needs of others, embodying a spirit of love and hospitality. Additionally, Peggy was a devoted member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Nash; her children, Christina (Cary) Carter and Brian (LeAnn) Nash; her sister, Sherry Wamsley; her grandchildren, ShiAnn Sorrells, Sarah Williams, and Jaxton Nash; and her great-grandchild, Aubreigh Grace Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gib and Lucille Ellis.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 17th, at 1:00 PM ET in the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, officiated by Brother Ron Johnson and Logan Kinsey. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, September 16th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
