Julian Lebron Moore, fondly known as "Pete", passed away on May 25, 2023, at Memorial Hospital at the age of 68. He was born on July 13, 1954, in Fort Oglethorpe, GA to his parents Leon "Dub" and Mary Ruth Moore. He was a resident of the New Salem Community on Lookout Mountain.
Pete worked as a construction superintendent and demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout his life. He took pride in working hard and providing for his family. In his free time, he had a passion for music and played the guitar and bass exceptionally well. For many years, Pete played an active role on the praise team at Trenton Ministry Center where he worshipped.
Above all else, Pete cherished his family and held his grandson Caleb particularly close to his heart.
Pete is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Ramona Moore; daughter, Kendra (Jeremy) Belcher; grandson, Caleb Bron Belcher; sisters, June Moore and Levon (Sean) Reynolds; brothers, Ray (Donna) Moore and Doug "Peanut" (Lisa) Moore; as well as seven nieces and three nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Leon "Dub" and Mary Ruth Moore as well as his brothers Donnie and Lonnie Moore.
Funeral services will take place at Trenton Ministry Center on Tuesday, May 30 at 1:00 pm with Brother Randy Tinker officiating. He will be laid to rest at New Salem Cemetery.
The family will welcome guests to pay their respects at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday, May 29 and at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 am till the service begins.
Pete's family hopes his example of faith and devotion to God and his family will continue to inspire those who knew and loved him so well.
