Starla Gay Powell, age 59, of Rising Fawn, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
Starla was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the love and kindness she shared with those around her. She dedicated many years of service to Arcade Beauty in Chattanooga, TN during her professional career and was an avid Tennessee fan.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brandon Powell and Shalina (Chay) Price; siblings, Cricket Miller and Billy Frost; along with several other relatives and friends whose lives were touched by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Gene Powell, and parents, Billy Frost Jr. and Linda Smith Miller.
Starla will be laid to rest at Hanna Cemetery in Rising Fawn during a private family service.
