Steve Randall Miller, 72, passed away on September 11, 2025 at his home in Bryant, Alabama.
Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, working as a missile specialist. After the military, he spent many years as a talented diesel mechanic.
Steve lived life big and loved to have a good time. He could often be found on his Harley, out fishing, or traveling to new places. He enjoyed assembling model cars, listening to Merle Haggard, playing the harmonica, and watching Alabama football. More than anything, Steve loved his family deeply and treasured every moment he had with them.
Left to treasure his memory are his children, Lisa (Keith) Henshaw, Charity Bass, Stephanie Adams, Andrea (Jorge) Mazariegos, Brandon Johnson, Abraham (Cristy) Baker, and Edward Baker; sisters, Viola (Benny) Shrum and Carolyn (Teddy) Steele; his beloved dog and companion, Gigi; along with several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Miller; his parents, Bill and Evelyn Miller; his brother, David Miller; and his sister, Jessie West.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM ET on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home, Trenton, GA. Brother Wayne Winters will officiate the service. Steve will be laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, September 15, from 4:00–8:00 PM, and on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
